On 29 July 2017, I did my health check up at Parkway Shenton Family Medical Clinic @ Towner Road.
A few days later on 31 July, I collected my health report and at the same time, sat down with the resident doctor Dr Tan Wee Lin to evaluate the results.
I was shocked to learn that my Total Cholesterol, LDL Cholesterol and Cholesterol/HDL Ratio were all borderline high, as part of the Lipid Profile Test, which somehow affect the risk factor for my Cardio-Vascular Disease (CVD) marker.
During that time, I discovered my waistline has been expanding rather uncontrollably, which caused my office pants couldn’t be worn gradually anymore.
I knew I HAVE TO do something about it.
It was until end of 2017 that I have decided to get rid of some fats off my body to stay fit and health from 2018 onwards. This is also one of my 2018 resolutions.
